Audience feedback to my magazine
After showing my magazine to my immediate target audience I
got the response that I was hoping for through structuring my images, text, positioning
of my images and the colour scheme featured in my magazine. The colours are bright
and piercing which links to my research into other music magazines. I wanted to
add aspects of similar music magazines to my magazine as they expressed my
chosen genre clearly. I use Red, Black and Yellow but by adding Black and White
just contrasts an ‘in your face’ affect to a subtle feeling when reading
articles, straplines, puffs etc.
The images that are shown are clear and subtle through the
magnetic lasso tool on Photoshop along with feathering tool to blend the images
into a clear and distinct way. I was told that my front cover was clearly thought
out and had a lot of information but underneath the masthead, there was a blank
space that had a lack of content that I knew I needed to amend. Also, the
information on the contents page wasn’t enough information that I and target
audience agreed on.
