Brave came on the music scene in early 2013, the last time KDMO interviewed them were in late 2013. They’ve taken 2 years out of the spotlight to focus on their image and what purpose they have offering their fans. They are back with their second single, Honest. “Hi guys, how’s it been going since I saw you last? You look absolutely amazing!”

BRAVE “Hey Kay, it’s lovely to see you again! Oh and thank you for the compliment, we’ve had a massive change to our appearance and our band in general since you saw us last. We’ve been off the music scene for a good year and a bit! It’s purely because we thought one night just round at Harry’s apartment and we began to mash together and we just all knew something wasn’t right! We ‘ve been so focused on what everyone else wants us to be than actually knowing what we wanna be and what sound we are. So we decided to take a year and a bit out to purely find ourselves through music. I think having the time out of the media just made us all a better person and now we’re here talking to you in the way we wanted to a few years back!

 

“Well, as long as you’re all happy and the fans are happy with the decision you have now made, that’s all what matter, right?”

BRAVE “The fans have been really supportive and actually, I’m shocked with what we’ve been told about the band saying that who we are now, is so much better than how we were when we started. I mean it just goes back to growing up and finding ourselves through new music and knowing what we are and who we are individually.”

 

“The real question is that everyone’s asking, when’s your first album going to be released?”

BRAVE: “We’ve been all over in America this year. We ended up recording our whole album in Nashville which was an amazing opportunity, to see everything and be in a place that gave us all a break but working hard also. I suppose we had the best of both worlds.”
